Dr Holohan urged everyone\u00a0to play their part by taking the following steps. These are:<\/span><\/div>\n
1. Reduce your social contacts – see only a handful of people in your network<\/span><\/div>\n
2. Distance yourself two\u00a0metres from people in shops and\u00a0supermarkets\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
3. Stop shaking hands\u00a0or hugging when you say hello<\/span><\/div>\n
4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth<\/span><\/div>\n
5. Wash your hands regularly and practise cough and sneeze hygiene<\/span><\/div>\n
6. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces<\/span><\/div>\n
7. Check on your vulnerable family members and neighbours<\/span><\/div>\n
8. Work from home where possible<\/span><\/div>\n
