Limerick to Limerick Exchange – Philadelphia, Here We Come…

After a “day off” to recover from our New York City adventures we embarked on a short road trip to Philadelphia. We first arrived at the world famous “Rocky Steps” before going to the “Franklin Institute”. We ate lunch at the locally famous Reading Terminal market, a real treat for all our students and teachers. In  the afternoon we explored the work of Thomas Mutter at the “Mutter Museum”.  We rounded off the day with a trip to the “Liberty Bell”, a symbol of freedom for many around the world. On return to Springford High School we all parted ways to celebrate “Thanksgiving” with our host families.  Another adventurous day in Springford complete.
