Day 2 New York
The bitter cold conditions in New York didn’t stop us from heading to Lower Manhattan today. When we left our hotel the temperature was as low as -8°C. We made our way through Wall Street on our way to catch the boat to the Statue of Liberty. The clear blue skies over New York today provided plenty of photo opportunities. After visiting the Statue of Liberty we made our way to visit the September 9/11 memorial before admiring the new One World Trade Centre tower which is now the tallest building in the USA. Tomorrow we will head by train to Washington D.C.
