We are delighted to take this opportunity to introduce Ms. Fidelma Power to our school community in her new role as Home School Community Liaison.

Ms. Power has been a teacher in Coláiste Chiaráin since 2008 and just been appointed to this new role at the beginning of this new school year. Ms. Power succeeds Ms. Betty Morrissey who has spent the past five years in this role. Thank you to Ms. Morrissey for the past five years.

The Role of Home School Community Liaison is incredibly important in our school. Our Home School Community Liaison works with and for our parent body. Working together enables our school and parents to collaborate and attain the best outcomes for all students in our care.

Congratulations to Ms. Power on her appointment to this role and we wish her every success as HSCL for Coláiste Chiaráin.

Ms. Power’s contact information is available should any of our parent body need to make contact.

I am delighted to be appointed as the Home School Community Liaison coordinator here at Colaiste Chiarain. I am looking forward to meeting parents online and in person over the coming year.  My role is about supporting parents and promoting closer partnerships between home and school. Ultimately the aim of my job is about improving educational outcomes and helping you support the wellbeing of your child.
