Our Student Council elections for the positions of President and Vice President have recently taken place in Coláiste Chiaráin, with huge interest among our student body to take on leading rolesAfter an interview process Zainab Barry, a Form 6 student was elected as Student Council President followed by Manchun Fan, a Form 4 student as Student Council Vice President. Since the election of our Council, Students have been very busy putting their wonderful ideas into action. They planted trees in our orchard, trees that will be there long after they have left the school. They also had a . huge part to play in decorating the school Christmas trees, bringing some well needed Christmas cheer. They are currently organising care packages to be delivered to each resident in the local Caherass nursing home. They are busy planning some activities for Christmas they have dubbed ‘Spirit Week’, which will involve Christmas song karaoke on ‘Musical Monday’ along with a Christmas movie and some Christmas carolling. Looking forward to a busy and productive year ahead..
