On January 28th our Leaning Hub students Erin, Kasper, Daniel, Henry, Saoirse and Megan had a fantastic day out at Liskennett Farm where they got to experience the St. Joseph’s Foundation ‘Horse Boy Equestrian Therapy Hub’. Ably assisted and led by 4 of our school staff, along with staff from the centre, the boys and girls were given a horse each to ride through the beautiful surroundings in Liskennett. On their return to the centre, the students were treated to lunch and time in the playground, before getting to visit the many other animals on the farm including their favourites, John & Edward (the donkeys) Snap, the llama and the kid goats. A wonderful day was had by all. Many thanks to the staff of Liskennett Farm and to Ms. Betty Morrissey and our SNA team for facilitating the day.
