Day 2: the students were welcomed by school superintendent and principal Dr. Goodin and Dr. Pat Nugent. The host parents provided a beautiful breakfast. We then travelled to Evans elementary school where our students met the students that they had been emailing for the past months. They exchanged gifts and spent a couple of hours getting to know each other better, playing games and taking part in challenges. We are all off to a basketball game tonight.
