Since Sunday was a free day to spend with families, my family brought our American to Galway for the day. We strolled through the busy streets of the city centre and stopped at various pastry and sweet shops. Alongside food stops, we made a trip to Claddagh Rings, Aran Knitwear and a traditional Irish pub. On our journey we met some other students on the exchange, who were also enjoying the fabulous weather. As the sun began to set, we made our way to one of the Wild Atlantic Way attractions, Salthill. We found a spot on the beach and watched the breathtaking sunset. It was an amazing day out and she even got to try her first Supermacs meal!
