Wednesday 20/11/24

This morning we all went to Shady Maple, a big all you can eat buffet for breakfast. We all had things like bacon, pancakes, hashbrowns, bowls of fruit and even ice-cream. It was really fun to all sit down together and chat and eat. After we all finished up eating we went downstairs to the huge giftshop to have a look around. We then got back on the bus to go to the Amish Village in Lancaster. Once we got there we got a talk about the way they live, what they wear and the way they work. We then got a tour of an 1800 Amish House. We also met a lot of the working animals and got to feed them! Once finished up walking around and taking our time we got the bus back to the school and went home with our partners. As it came near the evening we all met up at the school to get the bus to the Flyers Hockey game. Once the game started everyone was getting excited and we were cheering for the Flyers like they were our own team. Unfortunately they lost the game, but it was a great experience for all of us to see a new sport.
